The Participatory Forest Management Programme (PFMP) is a joint initiative of FARM-Africa and SOS Sahel Ethiopia. FARM-Africa and SOS Sahel Ethiopia established the joint programme, with the goal of ensuring environmental sustainability through Participatory Forest Management (PFM) systems in Bonga, Borana and Chilimo forests of Ethiopia and in the Nou forest of Tanzania. With a Participatory Forest Management Unit (PFMU) in Addis Ababa, the projects have their offices in the towns of Bonga, Negelle, Ginchi (Ethiopia) and Mbulu (Tanzania).
