Working with Government and Communities to Conserve Forests and Sustain Livelihoods

The Participatory Forest Management Programme (PFMP) of FARM-Africa and SOS Sahel Ethiopia has been operational since 2002 in Ethiopia and Tanzania.

We aim to achieve environmental sustainability and biodiversity conservation by supporting the development of innovative participatory forest management plans that secure the rights, revenues and responsibilities of forest users.
